I am an accidental artist; I explored painting as a hobby, which evolved into my passion! Painting since 2012, my works reflect my very beliefs - spirituality, feminism, love, hope and nature. As a self-taught artist, I have no rules to observe, and I revel in the freedom I feel when creating. My works are mostly created on canvas using acrylic and oil paints; and I play with the colors that call out to me. â€‹

Ganesha and Women are my initial expressions on canvas; often reflections of my life that I express as themes. My ‘Musical Ganesha’ Series is inspired by my childhood adulation for the Hindu God and my desire to play musical instruments. My travel photos often become impressions on my canvas too - temple ruins, rustic bells and antique doors, sunflower farms, etc.

The 'Celebrating Women' Series was created during a difficult period in my life; my reflection of my life journey as a woman! My sixth painting 'The Awakened Damsel’, concluded my series - she is the progressive woman, who has a vision - her opened eyes look afar, representing hope & countless opportunities.

I love the nature and explore treks while traveling. As a Singaporean, I donate a portion of my sales proceeds from my paintings, to chosen charities
